Leos Rock the Orange e/s breakdown post.

I don't know why it only posted the two least flattering pics on the last post. Oh well. That's the internet for you. I'm posting on to prove that I don't actually have a tremendously lethargic lazy eye.  :P

What I used in this look:

I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance and Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy. TFSI is pretty dispensible in my looks, not a big deal, but I typically use some kind of cream base -- MAC paint pots, MAC paints, TFSI or UDPP. But the one thing I *always* use is Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy. I can't stress enough how much you neeeeeed this stuff.

Unfortunately, most of what I used is not available from the places I got it, but dupes can be had elsewhere. I'll mention some.

The matte yellow is lemon sorbet from Calypso mineral makeup. I got this with the infamous Rainbow Stack, which I love. Unfortunately, she kind of flipped out and isn't in business anymore, so no getting it there. But a matte mid-tone yellow from anywhere will work. I'd look especially at places like Beauty From the Earth. I think Sweet NIbblets is warmer, but it's in the same general family.

I tend to use a smoky eye layout for the shadows because I have, as you can see, extremely hooded lids. I pretty much have to bring shadow up to my browbone before you can see it.  So I applied the Lemon Sorbet to the outter 2/3 of my lid, then along the outter 3rd/the v, I used MAC "reflects copper" pigment. You can get this pretty much anywhere. It's not specifically approved for use on the eyes, but w/Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy, it doesn't budge and I've never had trouble with it. This goes into the crease as well. I used this instead of a typical copper because it's like liquid metal and I wanted something super THERE tonight.  for the tear duct and highlight, I used "copper diamonds" which I bought on clearance from The She Space when she closed down that to start her 3rd venture, which I think is still open. She doesn't sell bright colours anymore, though, so she's not my preference.

Anyhow, I lined with UD 24/7 liner in 1999 and used LashBlast Fusion for the lashes.

Pretty simple, but since I was wearing orange, it look extra leonid, which makes me happy. :P
